You know how it feels like summer just got started and all of a sudden you realize it’s August?? That has happened to me this year, I have no idea where the time is going. Soon my daughter will be back at school and I’ll be pulling out my boots. Which isn’t to say I don’t love wearing boots, it’s just that I have sandals that I’d like to wear again, too.
Sometimes, Facebook posts feels like the summer – you see one you want to remember or hang on to, and then it’s gone. And really hard to find again – if not impossible. You know, that funny video you want to show your husband or that recipe you want to remember to add to your cookbook.
How to save a Facebook post for later
There is actually an easy way to save these posts so you can refer back to them later! From the post, click on the ellipse (…) in the upper right corner of the post, and choose the “Save post”. When you want to reference it later, click on the hamburger button on the bottom right of your Facebook app (iOS), you will see an option for Saved. When you click that, you’ll see all your save posts and videos to review when you have time.
If you are trying to save an article that a friend has linked to, the option will be “Save link”. You can also save places, products and events. When you go to your saved group, you will see all your saves there, and then you can choose the tabs at the top to just see videos, photos or events.
You can unsave items you don’t need anymore by clicking the ellipses on the saved post and choose the Unsave option.
